A man was found “lifeless” on the ground and rushed to the hospital where he was in a coma after he was brutally beaten by a group for several minutes in Waukegan. The incident happened around 3 a.m. Thursday near the PADS Lake County, 1800 Grand Avenue in Waukegan.

CHICAGO - Two men and two teens were charged in connection with an armed robbery Wednesday night in the Sheridan Park neighborhood. The group allegedly beat up and robbed a 60-year-old man at gunpoint around 9 p.m. in the 4400 block of North Malden Street, according to police.

A 15-year-old female, 14-year-old male, two 16-year-old males, and an 18-year-old female also have been arrested so far. CHICAGO — Two people were killed after an exchange of gunfire on the city’s Far South Side, according to Chicago police. Police responded to a person shot in the 11300 block of South Lowe around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers found a 59-year-old man and a 45-year-old man who were both shot.

At least 100 people were shot, 17 of them fatally, during the July 4th weekend in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s (D) Chicago. Earlier in the weekend, Breitbart News reported at least 58 people were shot in the city Wednesday night to Friday night alone. Eleven of the 58 gunshot victims succumbed to their wounds.

CHICAGO - A shootout between two people left eight others wounded early Friday morning in the Little Italy neighborhood. Preliminary investigation indicated two people starting shooting at eachother around 12:14 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street, police said.
