Are You Ready for the 5 x 5 Classifier Challenge?

This isn’t a training class. It’s a 25-round skills check to see how you really stack up.

Most people with a Concealed Carry License (CCL) think they’re ready for anything. But how do you know? The 5×5 Classifier is a well-known shooting test. IDPA competitors use it to measure their handgun skills. You can take it for free at Red Dot Arms.

If you have a valid CCL and are willing to sign a waiver, you can join this free classifier session. This will help you see where you really stand.

What You’ll Do:

  • Fire 25 rounds across 4 timed strings

  • Use your own carry gear (or equivalent)

  • Shoot on a standard IDPA target at 10 yards

  • Be evaluated using official scoring categories

Who It’s For:

  • Anyone with a valid Illinois CCL

  • Shooters curious about their true performance

  • Students who’ve taken classes and want to measure progress

  • Those ready to stop guessing and start improving

Important Notes:

  • This is not a training class. It’s an assessment. There will be no instruction.

  • Waiver required to participate.

  • Bring at least 25 rounds, your handgun, and your carry setup.
