Class Overview (8 Hours)
The NRA Instructor Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course is an 8-hour program. It is for experienced reloaders who want to improve their skills. This course helps them become certified instructors. This course gives you the tools and knowledge to teach others the basic principles and techniques of metallic cartridge reloading. Before starting this course, participants need to complete two things. First, they must finish the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT). Second, they should complete the NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course.

Accreditation: Red Dot Arms provides comprehensive training classes with Certified NRA Training Counselors. This class is NRA Certified and meets all NRA firearms safety guidelines.

Class payment is due in full and is non-refundable, but transferable.

This class consists of  8 hours of classroom  instruction.
Prerequisites: 2 Classes
Student must have attended both classes listed under the Prerequisites Tab.

To teach students the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for becoming a certified NRA Basic Pistol Instructor.

Meet the following age requirements:
- Certified Instructor: 21 years of age or older
- Assistant Instructor: 18 years of age or older
- Apprentice Instructor: 13-17 years of age
Receive a passing grade on the NRA Trainer’s Examination and appropriate instructor certification examination:
- Certified: 90 percent or higher
- Assistant: 85 percent or higher
- Apprentice: 85 percent or higher

Yes, a Basic Metallic Reloading Certificate is required to join this class.
