A man has been ordered detained pending trial after officers arrested him for allegedly attacking his girlfriend, leaving them both bloodied, in a conservation area near Cary.

Trinidad J. Fernandez, 25, of Cary, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of domestic battery and one count of resisting a peace officer.
