An officer fired a shot at a suspect who pointed a high-powered crossbow at officers following a high-speed chase from Waukegan that ended in a standoff in Antioch.

The Waukegan Police Department initiated a police pursuit around 10:30 p.m. Sunday that began heading toward Antioch.
