A North Chicago man was taken into custody after authorities say he fled from officers in Zion and a police pursuit began over the border in Wisconsin early Thursday morning.

The Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Police Department said its officers were notified around 1:45 a.m. Thursday about a vehicle that fled from an attempted traffic stop conducted by the Zion Police Department.
