CHICAGO — A man was shot by Chicago police Monday in North Lawndale.

It happened in the 2100 block of South St. Louis Avenue around noon.

Chicago fire said a man in his 20s was shot and was transported in critical condition. The incident is being investigated by COPA as an officer-involved shooting.
