A 28-year-old man has been arrested after police say he shot another man during a shootout that led to a crash across from Waukegan High School’s Brookside Campus last month.

The Waukegan Police Department and Waukegan Fire Department responded around 11:40 a.m. on August 21 to the area of 60 North McAree Road for a report of a shooting.
