A convicted murderer was ordered held on a $500,000 bond after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman who had obtained an order of protection against him, prosecutors said.
William Pressley, 46, of Waukegan, was charged with harassment by telephone and harassment by electronic communication.

He also allegedly told the woman, “b–ch, you’re going to end up dead, b–ch.”
Pressley had not been served with the order of protection until he was arrested last Monday.
Smoler asked the court to impose a minimum of a $500,000 bond due to “escalating violence” by Pressley.
