Bomb squad renders scene safe after suspicious package prompts evacuation of McHenry County Government Center

Authorities say the bomb squad has given the all-clear after a woman dropped off a package outside the McHenry County Courthouse in Woodstock, prompting an evacuation.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office said an unattended package was found at the east entrance of the McHenry County Government Center.
