NORTH VERSAILLES, PA – Early morning on Friday, November 24th, a North Versailles police officer was shot by a suspect who has since been arrested. 

that an hours-long manhunt led to the arrest of 46-year-old Ian Lamont Fields. Fields reportedly got into an argument with an unarmed individual before the initial 911 call for a domestic disturbance was made. The responding officer arrived on scene at approximately 3:39 a.m. and was shot by Fields.
