NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Naperville police are searching for an offender who robbed a business and employee at gunpoint early Friday.  At about 5:03 a.m., the Naperville Police Department responded to a business in the 4900 block of South Route 59 for a report of an armed robbery that occurred roughly 10 minutes earlier.

39-year-old man hospitalized after being shot in possible shootout in North Chicago

Police say a Round Lake Beach man was shot during a possible shootout that resulted in over a dozen rounds being fired in North Chicago Friday morning. SWAT team arrests 2 Lake County residents after DEA investigation finds drugs being mailed to Round Lake

A SWAT team arrested two Lake County residents after federal authorities learned drugs were being mailed to Round Lake and investigators recovered a significant amount of narcotics. Lake County Assistant State’s Attorney Nicholas Shepherd said the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in April developed information about a suspicious package being mailed out of Arizona to Wisconsin.
