At least 100 people were shot, 17 of them fatally, during the July 4th weekend in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s (D) Chicago. A SWAT team arrested two Lake County residents after federal authorities learned drugs were being mailed to Round Lake and investigators recovered a significant amount of narcotics.
