A Woodstock man is being held in McHenry County jail after kicking an officer in the face and threatening harm to another officer’s family during an apparent fight outside of a Woodstock bar Saturday night, court records show.

Juan Morales Jr., 33, is charged with a class one felony of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, two class three felony charges of aggravated battery in a public place, and one class three felony charge of threatening a public official following the confrontation at 12:50 a.m. Saturday.
