Police confirmed that four suspects were able to evade arrest after they started a road rage incident that led to a shooting and intense police search in Cary overnight.

The Cary Police Department responded around 11 p.m. Saturday to the area of Cary-Algonquin Road and Harper Avenue in Cary for a report of shots fired.
