A gunman robbed a man, struck him in the face and then fired a shot at the victim as the victim tried to flee the scene in Waukegan.

The Waukegan Police Department responded around 12:02 a.m. on February 4 to the 600 block of Lenox Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.
