Officers forced entry, rescued a woman and arrested a Crystal Lake domestic battery suspect following a brief standoff at a residence in Wonder Lake Wednesday.

The Crystal Lake Police Department issued an alert to law enforcement agencies in the Chicago area around 12:35 p.m. Wednesday.
