Police are investigating after a 37-year-old man was shot and seriously injured in a shooting before crashing his car in Waukegan Sunday morning.

The Waukegan Police Department and Waukegan Fire Department responded around 2 a.m. Sunday to the area of Sunset Avenue and McAree Road for a report of a shooting.
