DALLAS, TX – On the morning of November 16th, a Dallas police officer was reportedly shot in the leg during a shootout with a person wanted for murder. 

According to the Dallas Police Department (DPD), the officer was working with the U.S. Marshals Task Force to serve a capital murder arrest warrant at an apartment on the 9900 block of Adleta Boulevard. The warrant was connected to a homicide in the 9700 block of Forest Lane on October 16th.
