A judge ordered a Chicago man held on a $1 million bond after he was charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a man in both of his legs in McHenry.

The McHenry Police Department and McHenry Township Fire Protection District responded around 10:30 a.m. on May 16 to the Fawn Ridge Apartments in the 1900 block of North Orleans Street for a shooting.
