Sheriff’s deputy responding to a 911 call arrested a Crystal Lake man who they witnessed attacking a woman after he also allegedly endangered the life of a child in Port Barrington.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 open line around 11:15 p.m. last Saturday where it sounded like a struggle was occurring, according to Lake County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief Christopher Covelli.
