A man was captured after he allegedly fled on foot with an AR-15 rifle after a police chase that resulted in a car hitting two buildings in Waukegan, prosecutors said.

Travondae K. Hood, 29, of North Chicago, was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of enhanced aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and obstructing a peace officer.
