A Lake County sheriff’s canine tracked down a suspect who was hiding in a marsh area after he allegedly tried breaking into a woman’s home near Gurnee, authorities said.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded around 1:40 a.m. Saturday to the 36100 block of North Grand Oaks Circle in unincorporated Gurnee.
