A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was shot when gunmen got out of vehicles and fired almost 100 rounds on a residential street in Waukegan Saturday evening.

The Waukegan Police Department responded around 11:10 p.m. Saturday to the area of May Street and Sunderlin Street for a report of a shooting.
