A Wisconsin man was arrested after prosecutors say he fired nearly a dozen shots at a cemetery near Lake Villa and admitted to the shooting when deputies questioned him.
Brent S. Shepperack, 29, of Racine, Wisconsin, was charged with possession of a firearm with a revoked FOID and reckless discharge of a firearm.

Deputies told him they received a shots fired call. They noticed Shepperack was wearing earbuds typically used for shooting, Smoler said.
Smoler said that Shepperack told deputies he was “sorry for shooting my piece.” He admitted he had a gun in the front seat of his vehicle.
