A 24-year-old woman has been charged after prosecutors say she kicked, bit and tried disarming police officers who attempted to arrest her in North Chicago.

Jessica Balleza-Perez, 24, of North Chicago, was charged with three counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer, a Class 2 felony.
