CHICAGO — A search is underway on Friday night for a man who broke into a pregnant woman’s South Shore apartment and shot her twice.

Police were called to the scene in the 7800 block of Colfax Avenue just after 10:25 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting that left a 20-year-old woman injured.
