An armed robbery was reportedly foiled Saturday night at a Phoenix gas station by a man keen to fill his tank, not empty his wallet.
The head clerk of the Sinclair gas station at 12th Street and Highland Avenue told KTVK that the man targeted in the foiled robbery is a regular customer, known to be polite and kind: “He don’t bother nobody. He come to the pump, fills gas, drives off. That’s it.”
