Man fatally shot on South Side after knock on his door

CHICAGO — A man was fatally shot by a person who knocked on his door on the city’s South Side, according to police.

The shooting happened around 9:50 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of East 69th Place in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
