Knoxville police identify suspect in deadly stabbing, identify axe as weapon

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – One person died and one person was arrested after a person who was stabbed showed up at a Knoxville church Tuesday, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Officers responded to the Cokesbury United Methodist Church around 11:45 a.m. after 26-year-old Tavares Harrison was stabbed, KPD’s Communications Manager Scott Erland said.
