Sheriff’s officials say Lake County Sheriff Canine Dax helped track down a driver who fled the scene on foot after crashing his car near Lake Bluff Sunday evening.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a single-vehicle crash in unincorporated Lake Bluff.
