CHICAGO — Police say a burglary suspect was hospitalized on Sunday after he jumped from a third-story window while allegedly trying to flee from police in Hyde Park.

Officers say they were called to a building in the 1200 block of East 54th Street, just before 12:30 p.m., on reports that there was a suspicious person checking mailboxes and taking mail with a mailbox key.
