An 80-year-old Chicago man shot one of two home invaders who physically attacked him Monday morning, authorities told WMAQ-TV

The man was inside a home in the 8500 block of West Catherine Avenue, which is near O’Hare International Airport, when two people knocked on the front door around 10:30 a.m., police told the station.
