MCCOOK, Ill. — One person is dead, and another is injured after a shooting outside a southwest suburban bar Saturday morning.

It’s still unclear what exactly led to the deadly gunfire in the Village of McCook, but neighbors who live near the area where the shooting unfolded said they hope something similar never happens again.
