TSA Will Raise Fines for Guns in Luggage After Finding Record Numbers in 2023

The Transportation Security Administration is raising the fine for people caught with a gun in their carry-on bag after intercepting a record number of firearms at security checkpoints this year. The TSA said Friday it’s raising the maximum fine to $14,950. Previously it was $13,910. Read more...

A Beach Park man was arrested after police say he fired shots while following another person during an argument in Beach Park Friday evening. 3 fatally shot, 1 critical in quadruple shooting in Portage Park

CHICAGO — Police hope witnesses or surveillance video can lead them to the gunman who killed three people, and critically injured another outside a bar in Portage Park. Man accused of firing multiple shots from handgun in his driveway in Fox River Grove sentenced to probation

A man who pleaded guilty to illegally possessing a gun that he allegedly fired shots from in the driveway of his Fox River Grove home has been sentenced to probation.
