FLORENCE, KY - On Saturday, July 6th, police officers with the Florence Police Department (FPD) responded to a call of an "active shooter" in a home on Ridgecrest Drive and upon arriving, could still hear the sound of gunfire. Officers responded to the call just before 3:00 a.m.
