MINNEAPOLIS, MN— An American citizen, Harafa Hussein Abdi, 41, of Minneapolis, MN was captured by authorities overseas and transported back to the United States Thursday according to the Department of Justice. He will stand trial for “providing and conspiring to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) and receiving and conspiring to receive military-type training from ISIS.”
