CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department has issued a community alert after nine armed robberies were reported in within five hours on the North and West side Sunday night.

According to the Chicago Police Department, a group of male suspects drove around the city’s Lincoln Park, North Center, Bucktown, Loop, Wicker Park, West Loop, and Humboldt Park neighborhoods and robbed at least 10 victims at gunpoint from 8:40 p.m. on Sunday to 1:30 a.m. on Monday.
