CHICAGO — Charges have been filed against a Chicago man accused of seriously injuring a woman in a shooting on the South Side over the weekend.

According to Chicago police, 39-year-old Michael Ross, a Clearing resident, is facing several felony charges, including attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with the discharge of a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
