Philadelphia police have made an arrest after a biker was caught on video stomping and smashing the rear window of a car — with children, ages 2 and 5, in the back seat — and then pointing a gun at the mother who exited the vehicle and head-butting her.

The male arrestee has not yet been identified, KYW-TV said. Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore on Wednesday morning said the arrest was made overnight, WPVI-TV reported.

Vanore credited the arrest to “great tips” from the public and “some outstanding detective work”

What’s the background?

Nikki Bullock, the mother in question, spoke to WCAU-TV about the ordeal, which took place around 8:45 p.m. Sunday in Center City.

Bullock told the station she was delivering food with her girlfriend and their two children when the assailant — who was riding with large group of bikers — hit her car.

“They’re not paying attention to lanes. They’re just doing whatever. So I’m turning in the lane, and he just hits the side of the car,” Bullock told WCAU, adding that she argued with the biker afterward.
