A convicted murderer has been sentenced to 180 days in jail for holding a gun to a woman’s head while counting down from five after she tried calling 911 in Crystal Lake.

Pierre D. Mahone, 51, of Atlanta, Georgia, was charged in December 2021 with felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, domestic battery enhanced, interfering with the report of domestic violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
