A woman is in serious condition after she was beaten and run over as a suspect stole her car, abducting her two-year-old child who was inside the car near Libertyville.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded around 3:35 p.m. Thursday to the 16000 block of West Buckley Road in unincorporated Libertyville.
