A woman is being hailed as a hero for bravely disarming a gunman accused of going on a shooting spree on a train platform in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, a man allegedly went on a shooting rampage. The gunman, later identified as Isiah Trotman, is accused of shooting four people near the Potomac Avenue Metro station.
