Prosecutors have approved charges against a second alleged shooter in the shootout at a Beach Park gas station that left one of the gunmen along with a 21-year-old man hospitalized Sunday.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded around 6:35 a.m. Sunday to the Citgo gas station, 39039 Lewis Avenue in Beach Park, for a report of shots fired.
