A second man has been charged in the attempted robbery and attack on a man that left him with serious head and facial injuries in Mundelein, court records show.

Carlos E. Velasquez, 21, of Mundelein, was charged with two counts of domestic battery, one count of interfering with the reporting of domestic violence and one count of mob action.
