At the end of each Illinois CCL renewal class at Promised Land Sports Park, students can take the IDPA 5×5 classifier. We only shoot at the Promised Land when we have a Lake Villa class. This test lets you practice and see how good your shooting skills are. This fun and eye-opening classifier lets you see where you stand and how to improve.

This evaluation is based on Louis’s experience in” How do you stack up”. It encourages students to aim for better self-defense shooting skills. Check out the “How do you stack up?” page for more information.

Louis, a Law Enforcement Firearms trainer for a large department, realized how ill-prepared his officers were. Read his journey in Stack-Up and challenge yourself to see where you rank. It’s a good way to check “how you stack up”.
