Skills & Drills-Mastering the Fundamentals One Handed class is designed for novices or seasoned pros who would like to practice the basic fundamentals of pistol shooting one handed.
Full Description: This class is designed to help you build confidence and improve your skills with your firearms while shooting one handed. This class is for both beginners and seasoned shooters. The fundamentals help shape the shooter that we become…but when shooting one handed the dynamics change! In an emergency situation we may need to be able to shoot one handed to not only defend ourselves but others as well. That is why this skill needs to be practiced often! Our instructors and range safety officers will be there to offer you guidance and support. This class takes place on the range. You will work on marksmanship, breathing techniques, stance grip, groupings all while shooting one handed.

Accreditation: Although this is not an NRA class, Red Dot Arms provides comprehensive training classes with Certified NRA Instructors. This class is exclusive to Red Dot Arms Training Academy and is not endorsed by the either the NRA or registered with the state of Illinois.

Class payment is due in full and is non-refundable, but transferable.
Length: 3 Hours
The class will consist of three hours of range time only; no classroom instruction is involved.

None: This is for shooters of all levels.

To allow the student to repetitively practice the basic fundamentals to become as proficient as possible before moving on to the more advanced skills and drills classes.

What are the requirements to attend?
You must have an NRA Basic Pistol Class certificate or higher NRA rating, a Red Dot Arms Concealed Carry Part 1 or Part 2 Class certificate or higher, or have a concealed carry permit for your home state
Can I rent a firearm for this class?
No, rentals are not available for this class. We would like you to use your own firearm so that you become more comfortable with it.
I have never shot before. Can I take this class anyways?
No, you do need some prior training in order to take this class.
Are defensive shooting drills taught in the class?
No, this class is strictly about reinforcing good marksmanship skills and techniques.
Does this class count toward the 16 hours that are required by the state of IL?
No, this class does not count towards the 16 hours required to receive your concealed carry license.
