Accreditation:Â Red Dot Arms provides comprehensive training classes with Utah Certified Instructors. Â All instructors are also NRA certified.
Cost: $50
Class payment is due in full and is non-refundable, but transferable.
Length: 4 Hours
This class consists of 4 hours of classroom instruction. Â There is no range time.
Prerequisites: None
Past RDA Students that have taken NRA Basic Pistol or IL CCL Part 1 can get a $25 discount.

Any age may attend, but  applicants for a Utah permit must be 21 years of age. Prospective students under 21 years of age please contact us at training@rdarms.com.

No prerequisite, but past Red Dot Arms students that have either taken the NRA Basic Pistol, Illinois Concealed Carry Part 1, or Illinois Concealed Carry Part 2 class can take this class for only $25.

Does the Utah class give me concealed carry privileges in Illinois?
No, but it is accepted in 31 other states.
Does the Utah class have range time?
Shooting is NOT required in this class.
Do I need a F.O.I.D Card?
No, Red Dot Arms Training Academy does not require a F.O.I.D card to attend. Illinois residents should apply for their F.O.I.D. if they are planning to purchase, possess or transport their own firearms.
Do I need to bring a firearm to class?
No, you will not need to bring a firearm to attend.
Can I get a Utah permit if I do not have concealed carry in my home state?
You may take the class, but you must have a permit in your home state in order for the Utah permit to be valid anywhere.
