Mike has been around firearms all his life. He received his first gun 44 years ago. Mike is certified as a chief safety officer and is also certified to teach all NRA classes. Being born and raised in Canada, Mike has only been protected by the second amendment for the last 20 years. He knows how it feels to not have the right to carry a firearm to protect himself and his family. This is why Red Dot Arms was established; to teach all his fellow citizens to safely exercise their rights given to them.

Steve has spent the last 30 years in the outdoors sports industry teaching people how to fish, hunt and shoot. What Steve enjoys most about instructing is passing on the knowledge and skills he has learned throughout his lifetime and to ensure his fellow citizens use their firearms in a safe and responsible matter.

He is certified by the American Red Cross and the Illinois Emergency Management to educate citizens to help in the community and to potentially save a life during medical emergencies, by introducing real-world examples and latest teaching methods. Rob is also a certified Search and Rescue Manager for a state-chartered Search and Rescue team, working with other volunteers to assist in locating lost people.
