American Red Cross CPR/AED & First Aid is designed to teach an intensive First Aid Class with in-depth American Red Cross CPR and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) training. Traumatic blood loss training will also be included. This is a great class for all CCL permit holders!

Full Description: The first 4 hours of this class will cover the American Red Cross training  for First Aid and CPR. The final 2 hours will be based on the Total Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines for stopping life threatening bleeding (with emphasis on trauma training.) The focus will be on how to use a tourniquet and a pressure bandage to stop life threatening bleeding. Anyone who is planning on carrying a concealed weapon should also have the knowledge, skill and ability to control bleeding and or have the ability to respond to an emergency. It will not do you any good to use a weapon to defend yourself, only to die from a wound you received in the confrontation. All training aids will be provided by Red Dot Arms. At the end of the class, all training aids will be available to purchase new. Take advantage of this class and get the training you need to save your life or the life of another. There is no worse feeling then the feeling of not knowing what to do when an emergency arises. On completion of this class, you can receive an official certification from the American Red Cross for an additional fee of $26 which is paid directly to the American Red Cross. The certification is valid for two years.

This class includes the following materials:
